Single Use Ball Electrodes are used to cauterise tissue. Available in a variety of lengths, coating options and diameters , Avicenna offer a solution to suit all surgical procedures.
Avicenna offer a range of non stick, PTFE coated electrodes which vastly reduces the build-up of carbonised material (eschar) on the electrosurgery tip during surgery . The eschar layer prevents the electrosurgery current being passed through the electrode, necessitating higher output settings which can cause damage to the peripheral tissue. Avicenna Surgical electrodes are designed to focus the energy on the target tissue, making surgical time more productive.
